ABSTRAK

 

The purpose of this development research is to develop historical learning media based on Sparkol Video Scribe. In addition, to find out the attractiveness of interactive learning media products based on information technology Sparkol Video Scribe to students in fourth grade SDN Junrejo 2 Batu. The research model used is research development. Consists of, potentials and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revisions, product trials, product revisions, and final production. Instrument of data collection in the form of validation sheet of media expert and material expert, and questionnaire of student respondents. The research of this instructional material resulted in an interactive video-shaped learning product by using Sparkol Video Scribe program. Media validation test results show average percentage of 70%. While the results of material validation test showed the average percentage of 80%. It can be concluded that with the validation test conducted by the media validator and the material shows that the developed product is in the effective category, or interesting to apply. Trials conducted on small groups showed a percentage of 89.5% and large groups showed a percentage of 89.2%, it can be seen that Sparkol Video Scribe's media development product about Heroism Attitude is very effective and interesting to be used as teaching material of history in the lesson social science subjects of fourth grade elementary school.
