The development of local history based module of Kedaton Temple is based on the lack of understanding and thinking ability of learners in studying historical material that must be in accordance with the Curriculum 2013, and the lack of teaching materials. So it requires supporting materials that is module, where the material is taken from the events/historical heritage that exist around the residence of Kedaton Temple to help facilitate the understanding and the ability to think learners learn independently without the help of teachers in meeting the needs of learning history in accordance with the demands of the Curriculum 2013. This research aims to resulted and to know the effectiveness of local history-based module products. Validation results by subject material experts and media experts obtained the average percentage of 92.7% and  90.5%. While the results of small group trials and large group trials obtained the average percentage of 97.3% and 94%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the developed of local history based module is declared eligible and very effectively used in historical learning.
