ABSTRAK

 

Abstract: The subject of history is very important to be taught to the learners. Through history, the learners can recognize their nation better and prepare to be better their self and their nation for the next. At school, the subject of history are less desirable by the learners because lack the variety of teaching materials. The existence of teaching materials are very important in the learning activities of history, to attract the learners' attention. At SMAN 1 Kutorejo are required a module as an additional teaching material for learning activities of history. The reseacher conducted research and development of teaching materials aimed to produce Troloyo grave local history-based module as the result of Islamic culture in learning history of class X at SMAN 1 Kutorejo and know the effectiveness of module towards the learning of history. Through this study, the result of validation from lecturer of material expert is 98,2%, the valiation from the teacher of material expert equal to 85,4%, and validation from lecturer of media expert 78,8%. From small group trial in class X IPS 2 obtained 91% result, and large group in class X IPS 1 obtained 90% result. Based on the results of validation and trial can be concluded that the module of Troloyo grave is suitable for learning of history.
