ABSTRAK

 

 

This study aims to enhance the writing ability of the tenth grader of SMKN 4 Malang by using graphic organizer. This study was different with the previous study since it only focused on the descriptive text and only utilized one type of graphic organizer that is thematic map.  The study used Classroom Action Research that was adapted from Kemmis and McTaggart’s concept. The results of this study indicated that the use of thematic map improve the students’ writing ability.
