The success of a company is determined by its own human resources.
Human resources is a vital assets in a company. There are many efforts could be done
to get a qualified employee, such giving a fair compensation for the employee. In
words, by giving a finance compensation and non-finance compensation fairly, it is
hoped that the employees are willing to develop their operational or skill so the goal
of company can be achieved asa well.
The aims of this research are to identify how the condition of finance
compensation and non-finance compensation and also the employee of P.G Tjoekir
are; to examine the influence of finance compensation and non-finance compensation
variable partially toward the employee operational; to find out the influence of
finance compensation and non-finance compensation simultantly toward the
employee operational; also to search for which variables between finance
compensation and non-finance compensation having dominated  its influence toward
P.G. Tjoekir fixed employee operational.
The variable used in this research involves the independent variable, that is
the finance compensation (X1) and the non-finance compensation (X2). Whereas, its
dependent variable is the employee operational (Y).
The research method that is employed is a correlation descriptive research
model with its population is 271 of the 1st
 and 2nd
level of P.G. Tjoekir employee. In
addition, this research uses 71 employees as its sample that has been chosen as
proportionate stratified random sampling. Then, it uses inquiries and questionnaire as
its instrument.
The research result shows that: (a) most of employee states that they are
satisfied of finance compensation and non-finance compensation given in P.G.
Tjoekir. The finance compensation that the 1st
 and 2nd
 level of employee are accepted
involves the salary, incentive salary, protection program and the salary of being
overtime working. While for the non-finance compensation involves the activity and
working environment. (b) It is known that most of employee thunders that they are in
high operational working activity. (c) Partially, the variable of finance compensation
and non-finance compensation gives a significant influence toward the variable of
P.G. Tjoekir employee operational. It can be seen from the value of taccount as 5.318much and the t significant for 0.000. Since taccount is bigger than ttable (5.318 > 1.995)
or t significance is smaller than or same as from 5% (0.000 < 0.05), partially, then,
the variable of finance compensation gives a significant influence toward the variable
of employee operational in P.G. Tjoekir and the value of taccount is 6.639, while Sig. t
is 0.000. For taccount is bigger than ttable (6.639 > 1.995) or t significance is smaller than
5% (0.000 < 0.05), partially, then, the variable of non-finance compensation gives a
significant influence toward the variable of fixed employee operational in Tjoekir
Sugar Factory. (d) As simultantly, both variables of finance compensation and non-
finance compensation have a significant influence toward the variable of employee
operational in P.G. Tjoekir. It can be sought from the value of Faccount that is 54.512
with F significance in 0.000. Hence, Faccount > Ftable (54.512 > 3.131) or F significance
< 5% (0.000 < 0.05). It means that the independent variable that consists of finance
compensation  (X1) and non-finance compensation (X2) give a significant influence
toward the variable of employee operational (Y) in Tjoekir Sugar Factory. (e) It is
found that non-finance compensation has a bigger effective contribution than that
finance compensation. It can be seen from the average rate of contribution given by
non-finance compensation which is 39.3% bigger than that finance compensation
which is only 29.4%.
There are several suggestions can be recommended related to this research
result, as follows: (1) Since the finance compensation and non-finance compensation
which is already applied by Tjoekir Sugar Factory can be satisfying and increasing
the employee operational, then, it should be better to be kept or even improved. (2)
Especially for the aspect of non-finance compensation which has a dominant role and
is the most significant influence toward the employee operational in Tjoekir Sugar
Factory, the company should be able to give a better design, either in positioning job
or the officials which is virtually sufficient as well as possible and also supply the
comfortable working environment for those employees. (3) For further researchers,
they are willing to focus to the others dimension of this field of research, since there
is still aspect of employee operational which is influenced by another variable outside
of the variable of finance compensation and non-finance compensation.
