  One of the crucial factors of a company success is rely on its human
resources.  In a company, the need of smart and capable human resource is a
requirement must be fulfilled. With a  high quality human resource, expectantly
can bring the company to gain the success. To meet that purpose, the company
should increase the employees’ performance. In striving to strengthen the
employees’ performance, the company needs to notice organization culture and
working motivation.
This research purposes are to know the influence of: (1) The organization
culture to the employees’ performance, (2) The working motivation to the
employees’ performance, (3) The organization culture to the working motivation,
(4) The organization culture to the employees’ motivation through working
motivation.
The type of the research used by the researcher is Explanatory Research
which explains the causal correlation between variables through hypothesis
analysis. The population chosen is 800 employees of Production Department in
PT. Semen Gresik. The sample research collecting is using purposive sampling
method with Slovin principle. Therefore the sample used in this research is 89
respondents and the analysis used is path analysis.
The analysis result got from questionnaire shows that: (1) there is a
significant direct influence between the organization culture variable and the
employees’ performance. The influence is  about 0,446, (2) there is a significant 
 
 
direct influence between working motivation and the employees’ performance.
The influence is about 0,334, (3) there is a significant direct influence between
organization culture and the working motivation. The influence is about 0,672 and
(4) there is a significant indirect influence between organization culture and the
employees’ motivation through working motivation. The influence is about 0,633.
The advice can be recommended by the researcher related to the research
result are:(1) For the company: The head manager of PT. Semen Gresik should
always attempt to notice the best organization culture to motivate the employees
in making high performance. (2) For the next researcher: arouse the organization
culture, working motivation and employees performance theories to develop the
previous theories.
