Abstrak


The research was intended to describe the application of cooperative learning by using Numbered Head Together (NHT) method. The action research was elected as a research design. The subjects were Lhe tenth-grade students at vocational high school of Ardjuna 01, Malang. The result showed that: (1) NHT was effective to increase the student achievement; the average of achievement test score increase from 42,27 (first cycle) to 70,45 (second cycle), and (2) the students gave positive response to NHT. Further researches were recommended to verified the cooperative learning (wider than NHT) at vocational high school.
