Peran Strategis MGMP dalam Meningkatkan Profesionalisme Guru-Guru Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi

Indicators of professionalism of teachers is to have academic qualifications and competen­ce as a learning agent. As a teacher of learning agents have a pedagogical competence, personality, professional, and social Proposition qualitative research indicates that the teachers understand their task as professional, Deliberation Subject Teachers (DST) of economic subjects have a strategic role in improving the professionalism of teachers. The higher the intensity of teachers follow the program MGMP, then increasing the performance of their professionalism. Program DST include: motiva­ting to members for further study and attend relevant training, 2) Constructing learning implementation plan (RPP) and assessment instruments, the development of the lattice about the assessment on the midterm and end of the semester, and about try-outs of national examinations, the development of instructional media, and material about the surgery, arrange TOD, and comparative studies, 3) Organizing seminars, workshops, professional development and discussion, 4) create a forum for social and religious communication. It is recommended that teachers follow a proactive DST activities organized to improve the performance of their professionalism.
