Proses pembelajaran mata pelajaran ekonomi yang dilakukan pada kelasX IIS B / 16 SMAN 1 Singosari Kabupaten Malang diketahui bahwa : 1)nilai ulangan siswa masih belum mencapai ketuntasan maksimum, 2) gurudominan menggunakan model pembelajaran ceramah, 3) siswa belum bisabekerjasama dengan teman, 4) siswa kurang antusias saat kegiatan diskusikelompok , 4) siswa sering tidak fokus pada pelajaran. Hal tersebutmengakibatkan siswa tidak fokus dan tidak semangat mengikuti pelajaranekonomi dan mengakibatkan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa rendah.

Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan rancangan kualitatif jenis penelitiantindakan kelas ( PTK ). Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini meliputidata keterlaksanaan penerapan model pembelajaran Group Investigation danExample Non Example setiap pertemuan dan data peningkatan hasil belajarekonomi siswa dari aspek kognitif yaitu nilai ulangan harian setiap siklus.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes,wawancara, catatan lapangan, dokumentasi.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaranGroup Investigation dan Example Non Example telah terlaksana dengansangat dan telah memenuhi target yang diharapkan. Persentase ketercapaianpelaksanaan tindakan kegiatan penelitian dalam penerapan modelpembelajaran Group Investigation dan Example Non Example pada siklus I77,69 % ( Baik) dan 91,17 % ( Sangat baik) pada siklus II. Terjadipeningkatan hasil belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi pada siswa denganmenerapkan model pembelajaran Group Investigation dan Example NonExample. Rata – rata nilai siswa pada siklus I sebesar 75% meningkatmencapai 91,66 % diakhir siklus II

Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Group Investigationdan Example Non Example yang dilaksanakan guru dan siswa dengansangat baik pada mata pelajaran ekonomi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajaryang baik dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal yang sangat baik dikelas X IIS BSMA Negeri 1 Singosari Kabupaten Malang. Oleh karena itu, disarankankepada guru untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran yang lainnya dalamkegiatan pembelajaran agar hasil belajar siswa lebih maksimal

Economic class implemented in grade X IIS B / 16 of SMAN 1Singosari, Malang regency, resulting on some points of conclusions, whichare: 1) Students’ final test scores are lower than the minimum passing grade,2) Most of the teachers are lecturing their students for most of the time, 3)Students are not capable of working together with friends, 4) Students areno longer enthusiastic to group discussion, 5) Students are hardly have theirfocus on to the subject. All these points lead to students’ low enthusiasm,even further lower scores in Economic class.

The research was done through a Classroom Action Researchmethod. The data which were gained in this research covers all explanationof the implementation of Group Investigation and Example Non Examplemethod through every single meeting and students’ achievements whichwere taken cognitively through daily test scores in every cycle. The datawas collected through observations, tests, interviews, field notes, anddocumentations.

The result of the research shows that the implementation of GroupInvestigation and Example Non Example method was successfully carriedout at this particular class and achieved its target well. In the first (I) cycle,this method of Group Investigation and Example Non Example methodreached the target of 77,69% categorized as Good and went upper into91,17% under the category of Very Good in the second (II) cycle. There isa significant improvement within Economic class as the result of GroupInvestigation and Example Non Example method in class. The Averagescore in cycle I is 75% which then improved and reached 91,66% in cycleII.

Therefore, it can be concluded that Group Investigation andExample Non Example method implemented by teachers and studentsduring Economic class can improves the students’ learning result andachieves the target of specific class passing grade of grade X IIS B in SMAN1 Singosari of Malang regency. Hence, it is suggested for the teachers toimplement this method during Economic subject, or be applied in the othersubject in order to improve the students’ final results.
