The result of preliminary observation in class XI IIS 3 Senior High School 1 Lawang District Malang showed that there were students dominating in the class, so the other students tended to be passive. In addition that problem, the learning outcomes of the students were also too low. It is prove by the completeness of student’s learning outcomes in KD 3.1 and 4.1, which only amounted to 52,77%, meaning that clasically the most of student’s scores were below the standard minimum score. Low learning result were caused by the low level of student’s understanding on the material. Therefore, to overcome the problem, appropiate combination of learning methods is required, so that students would be more active and get better learning outcomes above the standard minimum score. One of fusion method that is able to enchance the activity student learning outcomes is a combination of learning methods student facilitator and explaining and time token. Student learning methods facilitator and explaining give opportunity for students to be able to explain the material in front of other students. Time token learning methods requires students to compete express his opinion in front of other students.

This research was conductes with the purpose of (1) determine the application of a combination learning methods student facilitator and explaining and time token, (2) whether the application of combination learning methods student facilitator and explaining and time token is able to enchance the activity of students in economic subjects of XI IIS 3 Senior High School 1 Lawang District Malang, and (3) whether the application of a blend learning methods student facilitator and explaining and time token can improve student learning outcome in economic subjects of XI IIS 3 Senior High School 1 Lawang District Malang.

The research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach type of classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The subjets of this study are 36 students of class XI IIS 3 Senior High School 1 Lawang District Malang. Consist of 12 male students and 14 female students. The data obtaned in this study originated from the observation sheet, about the pre test and post test and documentation.

Based on the results revealed that the application of a combination learning methods student facilitator and explaining and time token performing good criteria. In addition, it is also known that the application of a combination  learning methods student facilitator and explaining and time token is able to enchance the activty of student by actively criteria and student learning outcomes on aconomic subjects of XI IIS 3 Senior High School 1 Lawang District Malang with B criteria.

Suggestions made, namely: (1) for teachers, are encouraged to use a combination learning methods student facilitator and explaining and time token on economic subjects, (2) for schools, is expected to be used as consideration development of teaching methods on subjects, and (3) to other researchers, should be able to conduct further research to develop a mix of teaching methods and student facilitator and explaining and time token.
