Hasil observasi awal pada kelas XI IIS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Lawang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat siswa yang mendominasi di dalam kelas, sehingga siswa lain cenderung pasif. Selain masalah tersebut, hasil belajar siswa di kelas XI IIS 3 juga dikatakan rendah. Dibuktikan dengan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa yang hanya sebesar 52,77% pada ulangan harian KD 3.1 dan 4.1 yang artinya secara klasikal dikatakan belum tuntas. Hasil belajar yang rendah tersebut diakibatkan oleh rendahnya tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap materi. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut diperlukan suatu perpaduan metode pembelajaran yang tepat agar siswa aktif dan  hasil belajarnya tuntas. Salah satu perpaduan metode yang mampu meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa adalah perpaduan metode pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining dan Time Token. Metode pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa agar mampu menjelaskan materi di depan siswa lainnya. Metode pembelajaran Time Token menuntut siswa untuk bersaing mengungkapkan pendapatnya di depan siswa lainnya.

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan(1) mengetahui penerapan perpaduan metode pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining dan Time Token (2) mengetahui apakah penerapan perpaduan metode pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining dan Time Token dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas XI IIS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Lawang, dan (3) mengetahui apakah penerapan perpaduan metode pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining dan Time Token dapat meningkatkan hasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas XI IIS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Lawang.

Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IIS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Lawang yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Terdiri dari 12 siswa laki-laki dan 14 siswa perempuan. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini berasal dari lembar observasi, soal pre test dan post test, dan dokumentasi.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa penerapan perpaduan metode pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining dan Time Token dapat terlaksana dengan baik sekali. Selain itu, juga diketahui bahwa penerapan perpaduan metode pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining dan Time Token mampu meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas kelas XI IIS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Lawang.

Saran yang dapat peneliti sampaikan yaitu: (1) bagi guru, diharapkan dapat menerapkan perpaduan metode pembelajaran student facilitator and explaining dan time token pada mata pelajaran ekonomi, (2) bagi sekolah, diharapkan digunakan sebagai bahan pertimbangan pengembangan metode pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran, dan (3) bagi peneliti lain, hendaknya dapat melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan mengembangkan perpaduan metode pembelajaran student facilitator and explaining dan time token.

The result of preliminary observation in class XI IIS 3 Senior High School 1 Lawang District Malang showed that there were students dominating in the class, so the other students tended to be passive. In addition that problem, the learning outcomes of the students were also too low. It is prove by the completeness of student’s learning outcomes in KD 3.1 and 4.1, which only amounted to 52,77%, meaning that clasically the most of student’s scores were below the standard minimum score. Low learning result were caused by the low level of student’s understanding on the material. Therefore, to overcome the problem, appropiate combination of learning methods is required, so that students would be more active and get better learning outcomes above the standard minimum score. One of fusion method that is able to enchance the activity student learning outcomes is a combination of learning methods student facilitator and explaining and time token. Student learning methods facilitator and explaining give opportunity for students to be able to explain the material in front of other students. Time token learning methods requires students to compete express his opinion in front of other students.

This research was conductes with the purpose of (1) determine the application of a combination learning methods student facilitator and explaining and time token, (2) whether the application of combination learning methods student facilitator and explaining and time token is able to enchance the activity of students in economic subjects of XI IIS 3 Senior High School 1 Lawang District Malang, and (3) whether the application of a blend learning methods student facilitator and explaining and time token can improve student learning outcome in economic subjects of XI IIS 3 Senior High School 1 Lawang District Malang.

The research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach type of classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The subjets of this study are 36 students of class XI IIS 3 Senior High School 1 Lawang District Malang. Consist of 12 male students and 14 female students. The data obtaned in this study originated from the observation sheet, about the pre test and post test and documentation.

Based on the results revealed that the application of a combination learning methods student facilitator and explaining and time token performing good criteria. In addition, it is also known that the application of a combination  learning methods student facilitator and explaining and time token is able to enchance the activty of student by actively criteria and student learning outcomes on aconomic subjects of XI IIS 3 Senior High School 1 Lawang District Malang with B criteria.

Suggestions made, namely: (1) for teachers, are encouraged to use a combination learning methods student facilitator and explaining and time token on economic subjects, (2) for schools, is expected to be used as consideration development of teaching methods on subjects, and (3) to other researchers, should be able to conduct further research to develop a mix of teaching methods and student facilitator and explaining and time token.
