The Effect of Project-Based Learning through Blogging on Students' Writing Ability across Self-Efficacy

Abstrak


This study investigated the effect of project-based learning through blogging on students’ writing ability across self-effcacy. A quasi-experimental design was applied and it was conducted in 9 meetings. Project-based learning through blogging was taught to the experimental group, while aconventional method was taught to the control group. Independent sample t-test was employed in analyzing the students’ scores. The finding disclosed that the students taught by utilizing project-based learning through blogging got better scores in writing than thosetaught using the conventional method. It was also revealed that the students with high self-efficacy and those with low self-efficacy taught by usingproject-based learning through blogging had no significant difference in writing ability.
