Abstrak


 

This quasi-experimental research tries to find out the effectiveness of KWL on student’s comprehension of expository text and also observe how effective KWL is on the reading comprehension of the students across reading anxiety level. It was found that the difference in reading comprehension between student taught by using KWL and those taught by using conventional way is significant, the reading activities offered by KWL steps were effective to facilitate students in enhancing their comprehension in reading, and the difference between students with low reading anxiety and those with high reading anxiety taught by using KWL was significant as well. However, there was no interaction between the technique used and the reading anxiety because of the students’ personal factors and the appropriate reading materials.

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan keragaman tumbuhan paku di Taman Nasional Baluran dan menguji produk yang dikembangkan terhadap literasi lingkungan mahasiswa di Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE. Penelitian keragaman tumbuhan paku di Taman Nasional Baluran menggunakan metode eksplorasi di kawasan Gunung Baluran. Uji keefektifan dilakukan dengan menerapkan produk yang dikembangkan menggunakan one group pretest and posttest design. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan uji t berpasangan menggunakan SPSS dan gain score. Penelitian ini menggunakan 25 orang mahasiswa S1 Pendidikan Biologi di Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Berdasarkan hasil uji keefektifan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar memberikan efek rendah hingga sedang terhadap domain literasi lingkungan.

The purpose of this study is to describe the diversity of ferns in Baluran National Park and to test the products developed for student environmental literacy at Surabaya State University. This research is a development research with the ADDIE model. Research on the diversity of ferns in Baluran National Park uses an exploration method in the Gunung Baluran area. The effectiveness test is done by applying the product developed using one group pretest and posttest design. The research data were analyzed descriptively by paired t test using SPSS and gain score. This study used 25 undergraduate students of Biology Education at Surabaya State University. Based on the results of the effectiveness test it can be concluded that the teaching material has a low to moderate effect on the domain of environmental literacy.
