Bahan ajar merupakan salah satu peran penting dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Observasi di sekolah dasar Negeri Inpres Rabiajala Kabupaten Kepulauan Aru, menemukan beberapa masalah dalam penggunaan bahan ajar. Masalah yang ditemukan berupa materi, kegiatan pembelajaran, kemenarikan maupun contoh-contoh yang terdapat dalam buku belum memuat nilai budaya lokal  dan lingkungan sekitar, siswa merasa kesulitan dalam memahami materi ketika pembelajaran berlangsung di kelas. Sangat perlu mengembangkan bahan ajar sesuai daerah setempat. Pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal akan memberi dampak positif dalam mengenalkan, menanamkan serta melestarikan nilai-nilai budaya lokal pada anak sejak usia dini.

Penilitian betujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar yang valid, menarik, praktis dan efekti. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan model Dick & Carey. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis data kuantitatif  dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari hasil angket validasi ahli, angket respon guru dan respon siswa, aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar. Sementara data kualitatif berasal dari tanggapan, kritik maupun saran validator ahli, guru, siswa dan lembar catatan observasi.

Hasil uji kelayakan produk dari validator mendapat perolehan skor 87%. Skor tersebut menunjukkan kriteria sangat valid. Skor rata-rata uji kemenarikan produk dari angket respon siswa sebesar 83%. Kriteria menunjukkan sangat menarik. Hasil uji kepraktisan produk memperoleh hasil dari respon siswa sebesar 96%, dan angket respon guru sebesar 98%. Menunjukkan kriteria sangat praktis. Hasil uji keefektifan aktivitas belajar siswa memperoleh skor pada sub tema 1 93% dan sub tema 2 95% dan hasil belajar siswa sub tema 1 88% dan sub tema 2 93%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahan ajar ini layak digunakan.

Saran dalam penggunaan buku ini dapat digunakan sebagai buku penunjang pembelajaran sesuai dengan lingkungan sekitar siswa. Saran diseminasi bahan ajar ini dilakukan sampai tahap penyebaran (disseminate) di Sekolah Dasar Kabupaten Kepulauan Aru. Saran pengembangan tindak lanjut, dapat mengembangkan bahan ajar tema lain berbasis kearifan lokal di luar Kabupaten Kepulauan Aru.

Teaching material is one of the important things for learning at school. Observation has been conducted at elementary school Inpres Rabiajala, Aru Islands and it was found that there were several problems in the use of teaching materials. The problems found were in the forms of material, learning activities, attractiveness as well as examples contained in the book which do not contain the values of local culture and the surrounding environment, It is difficult for students to understand the material when learning takes place in the classroom. Therefore, local wisdom-based teaching materials need to be developed in the local area. Local wisdom-based learning will have a positive impact in introducing, instilling and preserving local cultural values to children in early childhood.

The aim of this research is to produce valid, interesting, practical and effective teaching materials. This research and the development design uses the Dick & Carey model. This research uses quantitative and qualitative data types. Quantitative data were obtained from the results of expert validation questionnaire, the teacher responds questionnaire and student responses, learning activities and learning outcomes while qualitative data were obtained from responses, criticisms and suggestions from expert validators, teachers, students and observation field hotes, book was.

The result of the product feasibility test from the validator was a score of 87%. The score showed that the book were very valid. The average product the book attractiveness test score of the student questionnaire was 83% it was theepore considered to be very interesting. The product practicality test result showed that the student responds was 96%, and the teacher responds questionnaire was 98% which meant the criteria was very practical. The test results of the effectiveness of student learning activities get scores 93% on sub-themes 1 and 95% on sub-themes 2 and student outcomes were 88%  on sub-themes 1 and 93% on sub-themes 2. Based on these results, these teaching materials were suitable to be used.

 

For suggestions, this book can be used as learning support books suitable with the environment around students. The dissemination of teaching materials should be carried out until the dissemination stage in the Aru Islands Elementary School. Suggestions for further development was to develop other theme teaching materials based on local wisdom the Aru Islands Regency.
