Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa buku ajar siswa SMA yang berbentuk buku ajar bagi guru yang menggunakan lima macam media dalam menggambar diantaranya; crayon, pensil warna, spidol, aquarel dan cat minyak. Isi buku ini memuat tentang bagaimanamenggambar dengan lima media serta tekniknya dan tahapan menggambar pada masing – masing media.

Model pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan yang dikembangkan oleh Yohanes Moeljadi Pranata yaitu 5D. Pengembangan tersebut diantaranya yaitu; define, data, design, develop, dan disseminate. Proses validasi produk dilakukan dengan instrumen kuisioner berupa angket validasi pengguna siswa dan guru, validasi ahli media, validasi ahli materi serta lembar observasi lapangan yang dilakukan oleh peneliti serta uji coba kelompok kecil.

Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini adalah buku ajar bagi siswa SMA untuk menunjang pembelajaran melukis dan menggambar pada khususnya. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini divalidasi oleh validasi ahli media, ahli materi, pengguna buku yaitu siswa dalam ujicoba kelompok kecil serta guru sebagai tenaga pengajar disekolah.

Berdasarkanhasilujivaliditasdanreliabilitasdariahlimateri, dandiperolehskorvaliditassebesar  80%  danreliabilitassebesar 0.962. sedangkan hasilujivaliditasdanreliabilitasdariahli media diperolehskorvaliditassebesar  91%  danreliabilitassebesar 0.741 dan Berdasarkanhasilujivaliditasdanreliabilitasterhadapkelompokkecilyaitusiswakelas X SMAN 3 Batu, yang disimpulkanberdasarkanhasilanalisis data bahwadarisegikemudahanmemahamimateri, kemenarikan media ajar relative sesuaidengan 95,9 % danreliabilitassebesar 0.704. Dari analisis validasi ahli media dan ahli materi serta uji coba kelompok kecil, dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk ini relatif sesuai dengan kebutuhan penggunanya dan dapat dikatakan produk ini sangat layak untuk digunakan.

This study aims to produce products in the form of textbooks students for state Senior Height School which is in the form of textbooks for teachers which uses five kinds of media in drawing them; crayons, colored pencils, markers, aquarel and oil paint. The contents of this book are about how to draw with the five media as well as the techniques and stages of drawing on each medium.

The development model uses a development model developed by Yohanes Moeljadi Pranata, that is 5D. The development among others is define, data, design, develop, and disseminate. Product validation process is done by instrument questionnaire in the form of questionnaire of user validation of student and teacher, media expert validation, material expert validation and field observation sheet conducted by researchers and small group trial.

The results of this development research is a textbook for children on State Senior Heigh School by painting. The results of this development research are validated by validation of media experts, material experts, users of the book ie students in small group trials as well as teachers as school teachers.

Based on the results of validity and reliability test of material experts, and obtained validity score of 80% and reliability of 0,962. while the test results validity and reliability of media experts obtained the score of validity of

91 % reliability of 0,741. Based on the results of validity and reliability test for small groups of students of teen class on State Senior Heigh School on Batu city. concluded based on the results of data analysis that in terms of ease of understanding the material, the media teaching relative in accordance with 95,9 % and reliability of 0.704. From the validation analysis of media experts and material experts as well as small group trials, it can be concluded that this product is relatively in accordance with the needs of its users and can be said this product is very feasible to use.
