for data collection. The population of this study was from two state universities and

one private university. There were 120 respondents who participated in this study.

The result of this study showed students' tendency of what features they like to

see in their teachers. Students across their different socio-economic levels tend to

value similar features. In line with that, students with a high level of achievement

significantly valued the ideal teacher as well, in particular, the respondents assigned

high value to features like, being expert in their fields, using technology, variation use

of techniques, reducing students tension or anxiety, patience, creativity, flexibility,
