Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas VII H SMPN 18 Malang tahun ajaran 2015-2016, menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki rata-rata skor 2,67 dan ketuntasan 64%. Rata-rataskor sikap sosial sebesar 2,70 dan ketuntasan 66% siswa Rata-rata skor keterampilan 72,36 dan ketuntasan 48%.Aspek pengetahuan menunjukkan rata-rata skor sebesar 75,2 dan ketuntasan 64%. Rentang skor sikap 1-4 sedangkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan 0-100. Kurangnya pembiasaan sikap spiritual dan sikap sosial dalam pembelajaran menjadikan rendahnya sikap spiritual. Kurangnya aktifitas dalam melakukan percobaan menyebabkan rendahnya keterampilan siswa dan kurangnya pemahaman konsep siswa menyebabkan rendahnya pengetahuan siswa.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sikap spiritual, sikap sosial, keterampilan, dan pengetahuan siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menerapkan pembelajaran inkuiri terpimpin sebagai usaha untuk meningkatkan sikap spiritual, sikap sosial,  pengetahuan, dan keterampilan siswa. Penelitian berlangsung dalam 2 siklus. Siklus 1 sebanyak 10 kali pertemuan, dan siklus 2 sebanyak 7 kali pertemuan. Tahap masing-masing siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Data sikap spiritual diperoleh dari angket, sikap sosial dari lembar observasi, data keterampilan dari observasi dan penilaian. kinerja, dan data pengetahuan diperoleh dari tes uraian di akhir siklus

Temuan dari penelitian adalah, pemberian pertanyaan dan arahan spiritual selama proses pembelajaran dapat mengembangkan sikap siswa untuk menyukuri ciptaanNya. Desain pembelajaran yang memungkinkan adanya kolaborasi antar siswa dapat meningkatkan sikap sosial siswa. Aktivitas yang dilakukan siswa saat melakukan percobaan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa. Interpretasi data dengan membaca banyak sumber dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa.

Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan inkuiri terpimpin meningkatkan (1) rata-rata sikap spiritual sebesar 16% dan ketuntasan sebesar 23% (2) Rata-rata sikap sosial sebesar 46% dan ketuntasan 52% (3) Rata-rata skor keterampilan sebesar 32 % dan ketuntasan 108% (4) Rata-rata pengetahuan sebesar 13% dan ketuntasan 52%. Saran, penerapan inkuiri terpimpin dalam pembelajaran IPA dapat dilaksanakan guru untuk meningkatkan sikap spiritual, sikap sosial, keterampilan, dan pengetahuan siswa.

According to the result of the observation done in VII grade students in SMPN 18 Malang of 2015-2016 period, it is presented that the main score of students is about 2,67 and the passing percentage is 64%. The average of the sociability of the students is 2.70, with the passing percentage of 66%. In the aspect of skill, the average is 72.36 and the passing percentage is 48%. While for the knowledge of the students, the average of their score is 75.2, with the passing percentage of 64%. The scale used for the attitude, spirituality and sociability, is between 1—4, while for the skill and knowledge, the scale used is between 0—100. The low average score in terms of the attitude of the students is due to the lack of exposure towards both targeted attitudes. And, the lack of comprehension towards the learning concept result to the lack of knowledge.

The objective of the research is to elevate the spirituality, sociability, skill, and knowledge of the students. The research design used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) by implementing guided inquiry learning practice in order to develop both the spirituality, sociability, skill, and the knowledge of students. This study was completed in two cycles. First cycle consisted of 10 meetings, and 7 meetings for the second one. Each cycle involved the steps of preparation, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data for spirituality was acquired from questionnaire, sociability from the observation sheet, skill from observation and work scoring, and knowledge from an essay test in the end of the cycle.

The findings of the research show that giving questions and spiritual guiding during the teaching and learning process could improve the ability of the students in being grateful to God. This learning design allows students to create collaboration among students in order to develop the sociability of students. The activities done by students in doing an experiment could improve the skill of students. Interpretation of data by reading various resources could elevate the knowledge of students.

 

The conclusion of the study is that the implementation of guided inquiry could elevate (1) the average of spiritual score about 16% and passing percentage of 23% (2) the average of sociability as much as 46% and passing percentage of 52% (3) the average of skill about 13% and the passing percentage of 108% (4) the average of knowledge of 13% and passing percentage around 52%. As suggestion, guided inquiry can be used by teachers in order to elevate spirituality, sociability, skill, and knowledge of the students.
