Today educational program just focus on intelectual intelligent, without seeing important of emotional intelligent. actually that needed at the moment is such as hardiness, initiative, optimism,the ability to adapt with around environment. In study process often found students who have high intelligent but get low study result and students who have low intelligent get high study result because the are emotional intelligent that affected. The cause of low student achievement or study result accounting X Class SMK Islam Batu is low of student interest exspecially basic accounting. The high of Emotional intelligent and study interest can encourage students to try harder in achieving basic accounting study result.

This study aim to:

(1) are there positive and significant effect of emotional intelligent on achievement of basic accounting;

(2) does self confidence can strengthen positive and significant effect of emotional intelligent on achievement of basic accounting;

(3) are there positive and significant effect of study interest on achievement of basic accounting;

(4) does self confidence can strengthen positive and significant effect of study interest on achievement of basic accounting. This research using explanatory research with descriptive quantiative approach. Independen variable are emotional intelligent (X1) and study interest (X2). Dependen variable is achievement of basic accounting (Y) and moderated variable is self confidence (Z). Population in this research is students in Accounting X Class SMK Islam Batu around 93 students and 75 students as sample.
