Kajian Variasi Kadar Bottom Ash pada Sifat Mekanik dan FisikPaving Geopolimer. Paving Geopolimer merupakan inovasi pemanfaatan wastematerial yang lebih ramah lingkungan dibandingkan paving block yangmenggunakan semen. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui komposisioptimum limbah fly ash sebagai pengganti semen dan bottom ash dengan ukuranbutiran lolos ayakan nomor empat sebagai pengganti pasir serta mengetahui sifatfisik dan mekanik paving.

Kajian pustaka yang digunakan berupa teori mengenai material penyusunpaving geopolimer, mix design, syarat mutu, dan alur pikir penelitian terdahulu.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif eksperimental di laboratoriumdengan pengujian sifat fisik paving berupa sifat tampak, berat isi , dan penyerapanair sedangkan untuk sifat mekanik yaitu kuat tekan dan ketahanan aus.

Paving geopolimer dengan variasi fly ash dan bottom ash 2:1, 1:1, 1:2memenuhi sifat tampak pada umur 28 hari dengan berat isi berturut-turut 2,034gr/cm3, 1,906 gr/cm3, 1,84 gr/cm3. Hasil dari pengujian dianalisis secara statistikdan dikaji dengan hasil penelitian dan teori yang telah dilaksanakan. Berdasarkanhasil pengujian, komposisi optimum dimiliki oleh benda uji dengan variasi fly ashdan bottom ash 2:1 dengan kuat tekan 13,725 Mpa dan penyerapan air maksimal6,49%. Berdasarkan pengujian kuat tekan dan penyerapan air maksimal pavingterklasifikasi mutu C sedangkan berdasarkan pengujian ketahanan keausan dengannilai 0,216 mm/menit, paving terklasifikasi mutu D. Berdasarkan hasil analisis,paving dengan komposisi optimum ini dapat digunakan untuk pejalan kaki atauuntuk taman.

The study of Variations in The Content of Bottom Ash in Mechanicaland Physical Properties of Geopolymer Paving. Geopolimer paving is aninnovation in utilization of waste materials that are more environmentally friendlythan a paving block using Portland cement. This research was conducted in orderto obtain the optimum composition of waste fly ash as a cement’s substitute andbottom ash with grain size passes sieve number four as sand’s substitute as well asknowing the physical properties and mechanical paving.

Review of the literature used in the form of the theory concerning thematerial constituents of geopolimer paving, mix design, quality, and flow ofthought of previous research. This research is descriptive research laboratory withexperimental testing physical properties of paving in the form of nature looks,volume weight, and water absorption, whereas mechanical properties wasassessed by compressive strength test and abrasion test.

Geopolymer Paving with variations of the fly ash and bottom ash contentof 2:1, 1:1, 1:2 meets nature looks acceptance criteria at the age of 28 days, withthe volume weight are presented sequentially of 2.034 gr/cm3, 1.906 gr/cm3, 1.84gr/cm3. The testing results were analyzed statistically and examined withexperimental testing and theory that has been implemented. Based on thecompressive strength and water absorption test, the optimum composition was

owned by specimens which has ratio between fly ash and bottom ash of 2:1. Thisspecimens has the compressive strength value of 13.725 MPa and waterabsorption value of 6.49%. Based on water absorption and compressive strengthtest result, geopolymer paving meet the classification quality of C. Meanwhile,based on abrasion test of paving meet the classification quality of D. Based onanalyzing results, this optimal composition of geopolymer paving can be appliedon pedestrians pavement or to the park pavement.
