Cooperative learning is the learning that has long been known for a long time, at which time the teacher encourages the students to cooperate in certain activities such as discussions or teaching by peers (peer teaching). Cooperative learning methods used in this study is the method of Group Investigation (GI). Application of the method Group Investigation (GI) aims to enhance the skills of scientific attitudes and student learning outcomes in teaching and learning. that the Group Investigation (GI) is planning a general classroom setting where students work in small groups using cooperative questions, group discussions, as well as planning and cooperative projects. In this study comparison of use of cooperative learning methods of investigation on the type of group lessons Tune ups automotive motor gasoline. Another thing that affects the acquisition of learning outcomes tune up motor gasoline.

This study aims to find out the results of SMK Muhammadiyah Improved student learning in subjects 6 Rogojampi Tune Up Motor Gasoline using the method of Group Investigation (GI) in cycles I and to know the results of SMK Muhammadiyah Improved student learning in subjects 6 Rogojampi Tune Up Motor Gasoline using method Group Investigation (GI) in cycle 2.

The research method used is a Class Action Research (Clasroom Action Research) try to assess and reflect deeply. Classroom Action Research (TOD) is a pencermatan toward activities that deliberately come up with, and occurs in the classroom. This study aimed to improve and enhance the practice of continuous learning in the classroom and enhance learning outcomes in classrooms where teachers are fully involved in research ranging from planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.

Based on the results of research and discussion of student learning outcomes data obtained, the results of the assessment of affective, cognitive, and psychomotor. Assessment of learning outcomes in the classical style completeness in second cycle reaches 100% completeness learn these learning outcomes have improved when compared with the results of study on the cycle I learned the exhaustiveness of 76.2% and there were 10 learners who have not reached exhaustiveness learning.

Conclusions The application of cooperative learning methods of type Group Investigation (GI) to improve the results of study subjects Gasoline Motor Tune Up XI06 graders SMK Muhammadiyah 6 Rogojampi second semester of the school year 2010/2011. The application of the type of cooperative learning methods Investigation Group can assist learners in developing the ability to cooperate and generate active learners in the learning process.
