Perkembangan IPTEK mendorongperkembangan yang terjadipada media pembelajaran. Padamulanya, pembelajaranhanyamenggunakan media berupabukuteks, LKS, baganataubahkanhanyaberupapapantulis yang dibantudenganpemberianceramaholeh guru. Saatini, pembelajaran yang bersifatkonvensionaltergantikandenganpembelajaranberbasisteknologiinformasi. Perangkat TIK dikembangkanuntukmemberikanpengetahuan yang berhargadengancepat, terlepasdariketerbatasanruangdanwaktu.

Penerapankurikulumsaatinijugamenimbulkanpengaruhparadigmakonstruktivistikdalamkegiatanpembelajaran yang diterapkan. Perubahantersebutmengakibatkan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkanharusdapatmendukungkegiatanbelajarsiswasecaramandiri. Media pembelajaran yang menarikuntukpembelajaranmandiricontohnyaadalahberbasis visual. Media tersebutdapatmemperjelasdanmempermudahpemahaman, menumbuhkanminat, mempertajamingatansertadapatmengaitkanantaraisimateri yang dipelajaridengankondisi di dunianyata. Melaluipenggunaan media berbasis visual, komunikasi visual dapatditransferkepadasiswasecarasignifikan. Komunikasi visual dapatmendukunghasilbelajarkognitifsiswa di tingkatpengetahuandanpemahaman.

Penelitianinibertujuanuntukmenghasilkanproduk media pembelajaraninfografis yang layakatau valid danefektifsebagaipembelajaranmandiriuntuksiswakelas X MIA di SMA Negeri 3 Kota Batu. Penelitianinimenggunakanmetodepenelitiandanpengembangandengan model pengembangan 4-D. Setelahmengembangkanproduk media, selanjutnyadilakukanujivalidasiolehahlidanujicobaolehsiswa. Ujivalidasidilakukanoleh 1 orang ahlimateridan 1 orang ahli media. Apabilaterdapat saran perbaikandari para ahli, media direvisiuntukkemudiandilakukanpercobaandanujicobakepada 43 siswakelas X MIA di SMA Negeri 3 Kota Batu.

Hasilanalisis data validasiolehahlimaterididapatkanskorrata-ratasebesar3,79, dariahli media didapatkanskor rata-rata 3,97, darihasilujicobaperseorangandidapatkanskorrata-rata 3,24, darihasilujicobakelompokkecildidapatkanskor rata-rata 3,38, dandarihasilujicobamenyeluruhdidapatkanskor 3,25. Padaujipeningkatanhasilbelajarmenggunakaninfografis, ditemukanhasilbahwasiswamemperoleh rata-rata nilaigainsebesar 0,59. Dari penjabarantersebutdapatdisimpulkanbahwainfografis valid ataulayakdancukupmampumeningkatkankemampuanpemahamansiswaterhadapmateripembelajaran.

The development of science and technology encourages developments in learning media. In the beginning, the learning process only used media in the form of textbooks, worksheets, charts or even just a blackboard that was assisted by lectures by the teacher. At present, conventional education is replaced by information technology-based education. ICT devices are developed to provide valuable knowledge quickly, regardless of space and time limitations.

The application of the current curriculum also has an influence on the constructivist paradigm in the applied learning activities. These changes resulted in the learning media being developed must be able to support student learning activities independently. Interesting learning media for independent learning, for example, is visually based. The media can clarify and facilitate understanding, foster interest, sharpen memory and can link the content of the material studied with conditions in the real world. Through the use of visual-based media, visual communication can be transferred to students significantly. Visual communication can support students' cognitive learning outcomes at the level of knowledge and understanding.

This research aims to produce a valid or effective infographic learning media product as independent learning for class X MIA students at SMA 3 Kota Batu. This study uses research and development methods with a 4-D development model. After developing media products, then the expert validation test and student testing were carried out. Validation tests are carried out by 1 material expert and 1 media expert. If there are suggestions for improvement from experts, the media will be revised to then conduct experiments and trials to 43 students of class X MIA in SMA 3 Kota Batu.

The results of the validation data analysis by material experts found anaverage score of 3,79, from media experts anaverage score of 3,97 was obtained, from the results of individual trials obtained an average score of 3,24, from the results of small group trials an average score of 3,38, and from the overall results of the trial, the average score was 3,25. In the test of increasing learning outcomes usinginfographics, it was found that students obtained an average gain of 0.59. From the elaboration, it can be concluded that infographics are valid or feasible and sufficient to be able to improve students' comprehension of learning material.
