Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the significance of differences in the average student learning outcomes due to the influence of Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) combined cognitive conflict strategies compared to Predict Observe Explain (POE) combined cognitive conflict strategies in vocational students. The research design used was quasi experimental design. Different analysis was carried out by the Independent Sample t-Test technique. The analysis show that there are significant differences in student learning outcomes because of the influence of Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) combined cognitive conflict strategies compared to Predict Observe Explain (POE) combined with cognitive conflict strategies. The significance of knowledge learning outcomes is 0.002. While the significance of attitudes and skills learning outcomes is 0,000. Learning outcomes with Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) combined with cognitive conflict strategies were superior to Predict Observe Explain (POE) combined with cognitive conflict strategies.

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui signifikansi perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar karena pengaruh Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) dipadu strategi konflik kognitif dibandingkan Predict Observe Explain (POE) dipadu strategi konflik kognitif pada siswa SMK. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimental design. Analisis perbedaan dilakukan dengan teknik Independent Sample t-Test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat signifikansi perbedaan hasil belajar karena pengaruh Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) dipadu strategi konflik kognitif dibandingkan Predict Observe Explain (POE) dipadu strategi konflik kognitif. Signifikansi pada hasil belajar pengetahuan sebesar 0.002. Sedangkan signifikansi pada hasil belajar sikap dan keterampilan sebesar 0,000. Hasil belajar dengan Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) dipadu strategi konflik kognitif lebih unggul dibandingkan Predict Observe Explain (POE) dipadu strategi konflik kognitif.
