Buku ajar merupakan buku pegangan yang digunakan guru maupun siswa untuk mendukung ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Buku ajar yang akan dikembangkan merupakan materi pada mata pelajaran Dasar Listrik dan Elektronika (DLE) Semester Genap. Berdasarkan hasil observasi pada guru pengampu Mata Pelajaran DLE kelas X Program Keahlian Teknik Elektronika Industri (TEI) di SMK Negeri 2 Singosari terdapat beberapa masalah dalam pembelajaran. Guru masih menggunakan buku cetak yang belum sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013 dan nenggunakan buku cetak Teknik Elektronika dan Teknik Listrik karena belum adaa buku untuk mata pelajaran DLE.

Buku ajar yang dikembangkan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dimana langkah-langkahnya yaitu:

(1) orientasi siswa pada masalah,

(2) mengorganisasi siswa dalam belajar,

(3) membimbing penyelidikan individu maupun kelompok,

(4) mengembangkan dan menyajikan hasil karya, dan

(5) menganalisa dan mengevaluasi proses pemecahan masalah.

Buku ajar Dasar Listrik dan Elektronika dikembangkan menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan menurut Sadiman dkk. Tahap-tahap yang dilakukan antara lain: Identifikasi Kebutuhan, Perumusan Tujuan, Perumusan Butir-butir Materi, Perumusan Alat Pengukur Keberhasilan, Penulisan Naskah Media, Tes/Uji Coba, Revisi, Naskah Siap Produksi.

Produk yang dihasilkan berupa buku ajar cetak dengan model pembelajaran PBL. Produk telah divalidasi oleh 3 ahli dan telah diuji cobakan kepada siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Singosari melalui uji coba kelompok kecil, uji coba kelompok besar, dan uji pemahaman konsep. Kelayakan buku ajar Dasar Listrik dan Elektronika diketahui berdasarkan angket dari 3 ahli memperoleh skor 95,94% (sangat layak). Uji coba kelompok kecil pada 20 siswa memperoleh skor 90,67% (sangat layak). Uji coba kelompok besar pada 53 siswa memperoleh skor 90,38%. Uji coba pemahaman konsep pada 53 siswa memperoleh skor 90,75%. Berdasarkan skor tersebut, buku ajar Dasar Listrik dan Elektronika dinyatakan sangat valid dan layak digunakan dalam proses belajar mata pelajaran Dasar listrik dan Elektronika. Hasil uji coba pemahaman konsep materi dapat diketahui berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa yang menyatakan buku ajar Dasar Listrik dan Elektronika dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu cara untuk memahamkan konsep pada mata pelajaran Dasar Listrik dan Elektronika.

Books are handbooks that are used by teachers and students to support the achievement of learning objectives. The book that will be developed is material in the Basic Electrical and Electronics (DLE) Even Semester subjects. Based on the results of observations on the subject teachers of the DLE class X Industrial Electronics Engineering Expertise Program (TEI) at Singosari State Vocational High School 2 there were several problems in learning. The teacher still uses printed books that are not in accordance with the 2013 curriculum and uses printed books on Electronics Engineering and Electrical Engineering because there are no books for DLE subjects.

Books developed using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model where the steps are:

(1) student orientation to the problem,

(2) organizing students in learning,

(3) guiding individual and group investigations,

(4) developing and presenting the work, and

(5) analyze and evaluate the problem solving process.

The Basic Electric and Electronics book was developed using a research and development model according to Sadiman et al. The steps carried out include: Need Identification, Formulation of Objectives, Formulation of Items, Formulation of Measuring Tools for Success, Writing of Media Manuscripts, Tests/Trials, Revisions, Manuscripts Ready for Production.

 

The products produced are printed book with PBL learning models. The product has been validated by 3 experts and has been tested on class X of SMK Negeri 2 Singosari through small group evaluations, field evaluations, and conceptual understanding tests. The feasibility of Basic Electricity and Electronics book is known based on questionnaires from 3 experts to score 95.94% (very feasible). Small group evaluations in 20 students obtained a score of 90.67% (very feasible). Field evaluation in 53 students scored 90.38%. Tests for understanding concepts in 53 students obtained a score of 90.75%. Based on these scores, Basic Electric and Electronics book are stated to be very valid and suitable for use in the learning process of Basic Electricity and Electronics subjects. The results of the trial understanding of material concepts can be known based on the learning outcomes of students who stated Basic Electric and Electronics book can be used as a way to understand the concepts in Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects.
