Studi manajemen laboratorium merupakan kegiatan yang sesuai dengan SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2008 nomor 4.10 yang menyatakan bahwa, laboratorium harus meningkatkan efektivitas sistem manajemen secara berkelanjutan melalui penggunaan kebijakan mutu, sasaran mutu, hasil audit, analisis data, tindakan perbaikan dan pencegahan serta kaji ulang manajemen. Salah satu unsur dalam manajemen laboratorium menurut PERMENPAN 2010 Nomor 003 Bab IV Pasal 6 yaitu pengelolaan laboratorium yang meliputi perancangan kegiatan laboratorium, pengoperasian peralatan dan penggunaan bahan, pemeliharaan/perawatan peralatan dan bahan, pengevaluasian sistem kerja laboratorium, dan pengembangan kegiatan laboratorium.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Untuk mengetahui kelayakan tata ruang dan infrastruktur di laboratorium Teknik Elektronika Universitas Negeri Malang; (2) Untuk mengetahui tata cara pemeliharaan di laboratorium Teknik Elektronika Universitas Negeri Malang; (3) Untuk mengetahui tata cara pengadaan peralatan dan bahan praktik di laboratorium Teknik Elektronika Universitas Negeri Malang;(4) Untuk mengetahui mekanisme peminjaman dan pengembalian peralatan dan bahan praktik di laboratorium Teknik Elektronika Universitas Negeri Malang; dan (5) Untuk mengetahui tata tertib dan K3 di laboratorium Teknik Elektronika Universitas Negeri Malang.

Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang terfokus pada satu lokasi yaitu Laboratorium Elektronika Universitas Negeri Malang. Laboratorium elektronika meliputi: (1) laboratorium mikroprosesor, (2) laboratorium digital, (3) laboratorium elektronika, (4) laboratorium PKDSE, (5) laboratorium sistem kendali, dan (6) laboratorium robotik. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket dan observasi. Populasi yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah Mahasiswa angkatan 2015 dan 2016 jurusan Teknik Elektro dan Pendidikan Teknik Elektro, kepala laboratorium, koordinator laboratorium, dan laboran.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan: (1) Kelayakan tata ruang dan infrastruktur (44,5%) optimal, (2) Tata cara pemeliharaan laboratorium (59,34%) optimal, (3) Tata cara pengadaan peralatan dan bahan (48,9%) optimal, (4) Mekanisme peminjaman dan pengembalian peralatan dan bahan praktik (64,84%) kurang optimal, (5) Tata tertib dan K3 laboratorium (46,70%) optimal.

Study of laboratory management is an activity in accordance with SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2008 number 4.10 which states that, laboratory should improve the effectiveness of management system in a suistainable manner through the use of quality policy, quality objectives, audit results, data analysis, corrective and preventive measures and management review. One element in laboratory management by PERMENPAN 2010 number 003 chapter IV section 6 is management laboratory covering the design of laboratory activities, the operation of equipment and material use, maintenance/treatment of equipment and materials, the evaluation of laboratory work systems, and the development of laboratory activities.

The research aims to: (1) to know the appropriateness of layout and infrastructure in the laboratory of Electronics Engineering State University of Malang, (2) to know the maintenance procedures in the laboratory of Electronics Engineering State University of Malang, (3) to know the procedure of equipment and materials practice procurement in the laboratory of Electronics Engineering State University of Malang, (4) to know the mechanism of borrowing and returning equipment and materials practice procurement in the laboratory of Electronics Engineering State University of Malang, (5) to know the regulation and K3 (occupational health and safety) in the laboratory of Electronics Engineering State University of Malang.

This research uses descriptive research type with quantitative approach which focused on one location that is Electronics Laboratory State University of Malang. Electronics laboratory include: (1) microprocessor laboratories, (2) digital laboratories, (3) electronics laboratories, (4) PKDSE laboratories, (5) control system laboratories, and (6) robotic laboratories. Data collection techniques are questionnaire and observation. The population used by researcher are college students of class degree 2015 and 2016 majoring in Electrical Engineering and Electrical Engineering Education, head of laboratory, laboratory coordinator, and laboran.

Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded: (1) the appropriateness of layout and infrastructure (44,5%) optimal, (2) the maintenance procedures in the laboratory (59,34%) optimal, (3) the procedure of procurement of equipment and materials practice (48,9%) optimal, (4) the mechanism of borrowing and returning equipment and materials practice (64,84%) less optimal, and (5) the discipline and health and safety work in the laboratory (46,70%) optimal.
