The results of the research assessment tests in mathematics mastery especially multiplication in class II semesters II SDN Bareng 1 Malang showed that of the 23 students who were given preliminary tests, ability students who are competent in doing multiplication concept only 5 children and the others are still under KKM. Students do not understand the concept of multiplication because the learning of students have been taught using concrete objects media, learning tend to memorize which makes students bored in learning.

The purpose of this research describe the use of concrete objects media to Improve multiplication learning outcomes class II SDN Bareng 1 Malang. In addition, this research will also describe success rate the use of concrete objects media to Improve Multiplication Learning Outcomes Class II SDN Bareng 1 Malang.

The study was designed to use classroom action research (CAR). Type of CAR is taken in this research is a collaborative CAR. Subjects in of this research that all students in the class II SDN Bareng 1 Malang. The research was conducted by the procedure (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation and assessment, (4) reflection in each cycle. Instrument in this research is (1) test items, (2) the observation, (3) interview, (4) documentation, and (5) field notes.

The results showed that the use of concrete objects media successfully used in class II SDN Bareng 1 Malang and can improve multiplication learning outcomes of students with learning stages as follows: (1) students manipulate concrete objects with the means students arranging concrete objects that have been given in accordance with guidance and examples of teacher, (2) students attached semi-concrete media in accordance with the guidance and examples of teacher, (3) students draw concrete objects that have been arranged accordance with the guidance and example of teachers, (4) students gave symbols on the set who have made and invented the concept of multiplication in accordance with the guidance and examples of teachers.

Researchers give advice teachers should use concrete objects media existing around student such as pencils, ice cream sticks, cutlery, straws, etc for learning mathematics especially the concept of multiplication. In a subsequent study the researcher should can use the concrete objects media more varied again so that students will be more active and learning of mathematics would be more fun for students.
