The text book and the learning process will be completing others. The learning process makes more effectively and efficiently, if it be supported with the text book. A high quality text book is very important, if the teacher only use the text book as one source without take the other source. A good the text book is a book that suit with the recently curriculum of education to solve some handycabs in learning process at school.

In occasion will be reviewed below: 1) How to make compatibility content level of the text book with the curriculum in the fourth grade at Elementary School? 2) How to know the validity level of concept and language in the fourth grade within Indonesian text book? 3) How is suitable evaluation system of the text book with the evaluation curriculum 2006 in the fourth grade at Elementary School?

The study used a content analysis. The research plan used a content analysis technique to describe objectively, systematically and communicatively. The content of book or document used a set of produce to draw a valid conclusion. The source of study is taken from Indonesian text book in the fourth grade written by Kaswan Darmadi dan Nita Nirbaya published by Depdiknas.

The result of research showed that 87,8% the textbook was suit with the curriculum, but 12,2% was not line with the material. There are some mistakes in the rule and grammar was uncorrect. The evaluation test of text book in curriculum 2006 was fairly unconcept. Because it’s dominated by cognitive test, there is one psicomotor test, whereas there is not all affective one.

For the headmaster must be careful to choose the text book for guidance both teacher and student. Especially for teacher, it is better to review to content at the very first place before being delivered to the student. For avoiding the wrong material delivery, the teacher is suggested to arrange the teacher’s own material which suits with the qualified text book and the exactly curriculum. In addition, the author should understand the good writing criteria for as the publisher should be more selective to measure the flexibility of the text book that is issued.
