Preliminary observations in V class SDN Kebonduren 02 Blitar mathematics learning about addition and subtraction of integers has not met expectations, since 13 of the 20 students have not reached KKM. cause is students do not understand the concept of addition and subtraction of integers and teachers deliver the material with the lecture method, giving the task and do not use the RPP. In this regard, it is necessary improvements on learning addition and subtraction of integers through the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) model.

This study aims as follows. Clarifies the application of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) in teaching addition and subtraction of integers. Explaining the increase in learning outcomes in learning addition and subtraction of integers through the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model .

The research method used is qualitative research methods. This type of research used in writing this essay is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The study consisted of two cycles. Each cycle implemented with the following stages: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, and 4) reflection. Obtained data from the activity of teacher and student activities, while the instrument in the form of tests and documentation.

The results of this study indicate that the implementation of learning addition and subtraction of integers through the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) model can improve learning outcomes V grade students of SDN 02 Kebonduren Blitar. It can be proved by the average value of learning outcomes in prasiklus 57, I cycle 69, and 77 second cycle. Exhaustiveness study on pre action by 35%, 60% cycle I and cycle II 80%.

Based on these results we can conclude that the application of learning addition and subtraction of integers through a model of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) can improve learning outcomes V grade students of SDN 02 Kebonduren Blitar. Therefore, teachers are advised to use a learning model Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model as one of the considerations in the learning of mathematics.
