This background research on the lack of language skills of children. This happens because teachers are no props, use less varied teaching methods, thus causing the child to be unhappy or reluctant even crowded own. This study aims to (1). Describe the use of media images and word cards that can improve language skills (2). Describe the child's language skills increase through use of media images and word cards for children in kindergarten PKK group B Dewi Sartika Balerejo 01 Kec. Wlingi Kab. Blitar.

This study used the study design, with 2 cycle class action. In each cycle consists of several stages, namely planning, execution, observation, and reflection, research subjects, the instrument also uses data analysis. Research done on May 23, 2011 to June 1 2011.Teknik collection of data used include observation activities of the child and performance, data analysis techniques used are qualitative data analysis.

The results showed that application of the method of administration tasks by using a media card images and words in the learning activities are proven to be utilized in the learning activities to develop children's language skills Ability TK. Pada I cycle an average child reaches the 68.75% increase to 87.5% in cycle II. Marked increase with increasing language skills through connecting writing with symbols. The message that in learning to improve the language and write the child can use a media card images and words. For further research can be done with other problems that can be utilized in the learning field of development in addition to the field of language skills, namely art, cognitive and physical motor skills.
