Learning science teacher when practice centered on making students passive in learning. Lack of direct student involvement in learning will result in student group less able to understand the material being studied. Implementation of learning with the less effective groups can lead to dependence student to her friend in the completion of the task group. To overcome these problems, needs a revision of learning by applying the learning model Stay Two Two Stray. The advantage of the learning model Stray Two Stay Two students can be active and cooperate in the study because it had the opportunity to distribute their work to other groups, and enhance students' sense of responsibility toward the task to be completed.

This research type is a Class Action Research (CAR). The action in the form of learning model TOD Stay Two Two Stray consisting of five phases namely preparation, teacher presentation, group activities, group presentations, evaluations and awards. TOD consists of 2 cycles with research subjects are students of class V SDN Tanjungrejo 2 Malang and the subject of soil and earth structures. This study aimed to describe: 1) the application of learning models Two Two Stray Stay on fifth grade students of SDN Tanjungrejo 2 Malang, 2) application of Stay Two Stray Two models can enhance science learning activities fifth grade students of SDN Tanjungrejo 2 Malang, 3) model application Two Stay Two Stray to improve learning outcomes fifth grade science students SDN Tanjungrejo 2 Malang. Data collection techniques used include: observation, documentation, tests, interviews and field notes.

The results showed that the application of learning models Two Stay Two Stray can increase the activity and student learning outcomes. The analysis result can be seen increased activity from cycle I to cycle II, which is 20%. Science learning outcomes also showed an average increase in value from cycle I to cycle II of 25.8%. Increasing the average value in each cycle a positive impact on learning completeness. At the end of the second cycle there are 3 students who have not completed the study (
