Learning mathematics should be given to all students ranging from elementary schools to equip students with the ability to think logically, systematically, critically, and creatively, and ability to cooperate. This is because the math lesson is aimed for students to have the ability to understand math concepts, solve problems, communicate ideas, and appreciate the use of mathematics in life. Based on the results of observations on the implementation of learning mathematics in the sixth grade SDN 1 Sedayugunung Tulungagung, there are known problems in learning, namely the average value of student evaluation results on the subject of arithmetic operations mixture of 56.67, the social feeling among students is very less, and student activities in learning did not vary. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the learning of mathematics in sixth grade student in progress calculate the mixture through a cooperative model of jigsaw type at SDN 1 Sedayugunung Tulungagung.

The design of this study using a type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). Subjects were researchers and students of class VI SDN 1 Sedayugunung Tulungagung with the number of 12 students. Data collection technique used observation sheets, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis was performed after administration of the action in each cycle that has been done.

Learning mathematics in pre-action, which was held in the sixth grade SDN 1 Sedayugunung in progress count mixture using conventional methods and monotonous, so the activity and student learning outcomes are still many who do not meet the standards set.

The results showed the results of studying mathematics in grade VI in progress calculate the mixture through a cooperative model of jigsaw type increased. This increase is known from student test scores, on a pre action KKM students who achieve 33%, 67% in cycle I and cycle II at 100%. While the students' learning activities in the first cycle that appears quite dominant criteria, and on the second cycle either, which is observed on student activities in accordance with the steps using the model of cooperative learning jigsaw types namely: (a) formation of groups, (b) formation of new groups and discussion, (c) the results of discussions in the early group, (d) percentage of the discussions, (e) concluded, and (f) to reflect.
