HUBUNGAN TINGKAT LITERASI LINGKUNGAN MAHASISWA DENGAN KEBERSIHAN LINGKUNGAN DI FAKULTAS ILMU SOSIAL UNIVERSITAS NEGERI MALANG

Literasi lingkungan mahasiswa merupakan pengetahuan yang dimiliki mahasiswa dalam menangani masalah-masalah lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat literasi lingkungan mahasiswa, kondisi kebersihan lingkungan kampus, dan hubungan antara tingkat literasi lingkungan mahasiswa dengan kebersihan lingkungan di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Malang. Jenis Penelitian deskriptif korelasional. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa sebanyak 91 orang (74%) tingkat literasi lingkungannya dikategorikan baik. Sebanyak 25 orang (21%) tingkat literasi lingkungannya dikategorikan cukup baik. Sebanyak 6 orang (5%) tingkat literasi lingkungannya dikategorikan kurang baik. kondisi kebersihan lingkungannya diperoleh hasil yaitu kondisi kebersihan lingkungan (tangga) sebanyak 95 orang (78%) menyatakan bersih. Sebanyak 27 orang (22%) menyatakan tidak bersih.Kondisi kebersihan lingkungan (toilet) sebanyak 86 orang (70%) menyatakan bersih. Sebanyak 36 orang (30%) menyatakan kurang bersih.Kondisi kebersihan lingkungan (selasar/depan ruang kelas) sebanyak 74 orang (61%) menyatakan kurang bersih. Sebanyak 48 orang (39%) menyatakan bersih.Kondisi kebersihan lingkungan (depan lift) sebanyak 70 orang (57%) menyatakan bersih. Sebanyak 52 orang (43%) menyatakan kurang bersih. Hubungan antara literasi lingkungan mahasiswa dengan kebersihan lingkungan sebesar 0,093 yang artinya terdapat hubungan namun tidak begitu bermakna.

Abstrak

Student environmental literacy is the knowledge students have in handling environmental problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of student environmental literacy, the cleanliness of the campus environment, and the relationship between the level of student literacy and environmental hygiene in the Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Malang. Descriptive correlational research type. The results of the study showed that as many as 91 people (74%) the level of environmental literacy was categorized as good. As many as 25 people (21%) the level of environmental literacy is categorized quite well. As many as 6 people (5%) the level of environmental literacy is categorized as poor. Hygiene conditions for the environment were obtained, namely the condition of cleanliness of the environment (stairs) as many as 95 people (78%) stated clean. A total of 27 people (22%) stated that they were not clean. The condition of cleaning the environment (toilet) as many as 86 people (70%) stated it was clean. A total of 36 people (30%) stated that it was not clean. The condition of environmental cleanliness (lobby / front of classrooms) as many as 74 people (61%) stated that it was not clean. A total of 48 people (39%) stated that they were clean. 70 people (57%) stated that they were clean and clean. A total of 52 people (43%) stated that they were not clean. The relationship between student environmental literacy and environmental cleanliness is 0.093, which means there is a relationship but not so meaningful.
