Prestasi Belajar dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor dalam dunia pendidikan. Faktor tersebut antara lain motivasi berprestasi dan intensitas belajar. Intensitas belajar mempunyai kaitan erat dengan motivasi berprestasi, karena intensitas belajar salah satu sumber motivasi berprestasi bagi siswa untuk mencapai prestasi belajar yang diinginkan.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) bagaimana hubungan antara motivasi berprestasi dengan prestasi belajar, (2) hubungan intensitas belajar dengan prestasi belajar, (3) Hubungan Motivasi Berprestasi dan Intensitas Belajar dengan Prestasi Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Geografi SMA Negeri se-Kota Malang.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa SMAN Se-kota Malang, dengan jumlah sampel penelitian yang diambil sejumlah 150siswa SMA Negeri se-Kota Malang dengan teknik quota sampling. Variabel penelitian ini berupa motivasi berprestasi, intensitas belajar dan prestasi belajar. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis Product Moment Person dan analisis korelasi ganda.

Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh tiga simpulan sebagai berikut: Pertama,terdapat hubungan antara motivasi berprestasi dengan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi, nilai korelasinya sebesar r= -0,168 dan p(sig) = 0.039. Kedua, tidak terdapat hubungan antara intensitas belajar dengan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi, nilai korelasinya sebesar r = -0,014 dan p(sig) = 0,862. Ketiga, terdapat hubungan dengan nilai R sebesar 0,278 dan p(sig) = 0,003 antara motivasi berprestasi dan intensitas belajar dengan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi SMA Negeri se-Kota Malang.

Achievement is affected by many factors in the world of education. These factors include achievement motivation and learning intensity. The intensity of learning has close links with the drive to achieve, because the intensity of learning one of the sources of achievement motivation for students to achieve the desired learning.

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) how the Correlation  between achievement motivation and Student Achievement, (2) how the correlation between studying intensity with student achivement, (3) how The Correlation between  Achievement Motivation and Studying Intensity and Student Achievement in Geography Lesson  in  Of Senior High Schools in Malang City

This research is descriptive correlational. The study population was in Of Senior High Schools in Malang City, with the amount of sample taken a number of 150 students all Of Senior High Schools in Malang City with quota sampling technique. This study variables such as achievement motivation, the intensity of learning and learning achievement. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using analysis of product moment correlation analysis Person and a double.

Based on the results of data analysis, obtained three conclusions as follows: Firstly, there is a correlation between achievement motivation and student achievement in the subjects of geography, the correlation of r = -0.168 and p (sig) = 0.039. Second, there is no correlation between the intensity of learning with student achievement in the subjects of geography, the correlation of r = -0.014 and p (sig) = 0,862. Third, there is a correlationwith the R value of 0.278 and p (sig) = 0.003 between achievement motivation and intensity of learning with student achievement in the subjects geography in of senior high schools in Malang city.
