Komitmen organisasi merupakan sikap yang dimiliki individu untuk tetap loyal terhadap organisasinya dan bersedia bekerja keras untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaan yang diberikan dengan sebaik-baiknya.Komitmen organisasi terdiri dari tiga aspek yaitu affective commitment, continuance commitment, dan normative commitment. Anggota organisasi yang memiliki komitmen tinggi akan menciptakan pengaruh positif bagi organisasi itu sendiri salah satunya adalah tercapainya tujuan organisasi secara maksimal. Fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa pengurus Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Gerakan Mahasiswa Anti Napza memiliki komitmen organisasi rendah di ketiga aspek komitmen organisasi. Upaya perbaikan komitmen organisasi dilakukan dengan pemberian commitment building training berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan yang dibutuhkan oleh pengurus Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Gerakan Mahasiswa Anti Napza.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran komitmen organisasi baik sebelum dan setelah adanya treatment dan untuk mengetahui efektivitas commitment building training dalam meningkatkan komitmen organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian quasi eksperimen, dengan model one group pretest-posttest design. Analisis uji beda menggunakan analisis statistik parametrik paired sample t-test. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yang terdiri dari 35 pengurus Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Gerakan Mahasiswa Anti Napza Universitas Negeri Malang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuisioner komitment organisasi yang merupakan adaptasi dari Organization Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) milik Allen & Meyer (1990). Treatmen dilakukan menggunakan modul panduan pelaksanaan Commitment Building Training untuk meningkatkan komitmen organisasi subyek penelitian.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan commitment building training efektif untuk meningkatkan komitmen organisasi pada pengurus Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Gerakan Mahasiswa Anti Napza dengan nilai p=0,0002,0322 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah adanya treatment. Hasil penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat digunakan oleh pengurus harian untuk meningkatkan komitmen organisasi pengurus terutama pada aspek komitmen continuance. Sedangkan bagi peneliti selanjutnya, modul commitment building training ini dapat digunakan penelitian di organisasi sosial (non profit), Organisasi keagamaan serta organisasi-organisasi profit.

Organization commitment is a trait embodied by an individual to remain loyal towards the organization and be able to complete and do well regarding the given job. Organization commitment consists of three aspects: affective commitment, continuance commitment, and normative commitment. A high-commitment member helps enhancing positive impacts towards the organization; for instance, the goal of the organization is successfully achieved. The commitment of the members of Student Activity Unit of Anti-Napza Student Movement in State University of Malang are still on the low level, in terms of the three aspects of organization commitment. The means of enhancing the level of organization commitment is by organizing Commitment Building Training based on the analysis of the administrators of Student Activity Unit of Anti-Napza Student Movement in State University of Malang.

The aim of the study is to describe the subjects commitment organization before and after treatment and to find the effectiveness of Commitment Building Training in enhancing the level of organization commitment. The study employs quasi-experiment research with one group pretest-posttest design. The analysis used within the study is the parametric statistic, paired sample t-test. The sampling method used was purposive sampling, that is the subject of this study is 35 administrators of Student Activity Unit of Anti-Napza Student Movement in State University of Malang . The research instrument employed within the study is a questionnaire of organization commitment adapted from Organization Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) by Allen & Mayer (1990). The treatment was held with the guidance of Commitment Building Training module in order to increase the organization commitment of the research subject.

The result of the study shows that the use of Commitment Building Training turns out to be effective to enhancing the organization commitment towards the administrators of Student Activity Unit of Anti-Napza Student Movement in State University of Malang. The value of p=0,0002,0322 meaning that the difference  before and after the treatment was held by the researcher is significant. The result can also be applicable towards the daily-basis administrators of Student Activity Unit of Anti-Napza Student Movement in State University of Malang in the aspect of continuance commitment. Towards the next researchers, the module of Commitment Building Training is suitable for either non-profit organizations or profit organizations in general.
