The students of Malang State University have the scope of interactions that vary with different  problems. The  issue  comes  from  the  environment  or  from  yourself,  how  student extrovert  personality  to  deal with.  Extroverts  students who  positive  thinking will  face  the problem  to  its  conclusion. But  extrovert students  who  repress the  problem will withstand  these problems and procrastinate solve them. Any issues that come off of an individual in his life, no matter how difficult  the problem, even seemed hopeless,  it  is not  so  important  than the individual's attitude toward the problem. How an individual thinks about a problem, may defeat the individual before he do anything about his problems (Peale, 1996).

This  research was  conducted with  the  aim  to  determine  (1)  description of  positive thinking  in  extrovert  students  at  the State University of Malang  (2) description of problem repress  on  the  extrovert students  at  State University  of Malang  (3)  correlation of  positive thinking  and  problem  repress  in  extrovert  personality  students  at  the  State  University  of Malang,  using  quantitative  research  methods  developed  by  means  of  descriptive  and correlational.

Population in this study is State University of Malang's extrovert personality students, the sample was 70 students using accidental sampling technique, and using 3 instruments (1) Eysenck Personality  Inventory Scale,  reliability  ranged  from  0,89  to  0,93  (2) The  scale  of positive thinking, reliability 0,891 (3) The scale of the problem repress, reliability 0,726.

The results of this study indicate that: (1) Of the 70 study subjects, most have average level of positive  thinking (42 subjects or 60%), high  level of positive  thinking and a  low of  20% or total of 14 subjects (2) Subject partly average level of problems repress (47 subjects or 67%), total of 11 subjects with percentage of 16% in the high-level and 17% or total of 12 subjects in the low level (3) Product Moment correlation test obtained a negative correlation positive  thinking  and  problem  repress  of  eksrtovert  personality  students  at  the  State University of Malang with  r  xy =- 0,707  (p =  0.000
